So Charming--

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my first post as a Hobby Baby Design Team member!! I'm so super stoked to play with these products and share them with you.

Today I'm using a new release piece that will be available on the website soon! Be sure to keep an eye out for it at GlobecraftMemories.com -  if you so have a hankering to pick up some of these amazing bubble pieces be sure to use coupon code TS25 for 25% off your entire order!!!

Now.. onto my piece:

To accompany the beautiful Globecraft Memories goodies I used Echo Park Paper's This and That Charming patterned paper, brads and coordinating stickers. I also used Distress ink in vintage photo and Memento's tuxedo black ink.

First, I cut the papers down to match the size of the frame pieces. To cut out the centers so my photo showed and my bubble popped through I flipped both pieces over (The paper and the cardstock frame base) and traced through the frame onto the wrong side of the paper. Then I had a guide to cut out the circle!

I layered the paper on the frames and glued with a wet permanent glue. Distress the paper and add some doodling!

To make the rosette I cut a piece of patterned cardstock to just under one inch, and scored it every 1/4 inch on my Martha Stewart scoreboard. fold and glue edges! Then I just layered what stickers, embellishments and brads I thought looked well together. Don't forget to distress any pieces before gluing them down!

Here you can really see the dimension the piece has.. including the space between the two frame pieces! I used a 1/8th pop dot from EK Success to create lots of dimension - just put it between the two frame layers!

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions I'd love to answer them! -DeeDee

  2. I really love how the frame comes in pieces so you can alter each layer before assembling.
